Hello, would it be possible to add emoji in titles? I would like to use the flag emoji to highlight the country where the event takes place. Thanks :)
Hi
Oh I see! Well, this doesn’t works with the flag emoji so it does not really resolve my issue. It could be useful to add the emoji button for titles (as we have in the custom bar when we create a topic or a reply). Thank you for your help.
It doesn’t work to copy & paste a flag emoji from our platform’s editor, but it is possible to copy them from the websites like the ones I shared above:

I hope this helps! I will open the idea for votes and will keep it in mind for when we’ll be working on the platform’s set of emojis.
I tried to copy and paste from the platform you provide but here is what I have for the flags.
Where did you find the flag emojis?

I tried to copy and paste into the titles but it doesn’t work.
Btw, the face emoji isn’t look great either...

Thanks for your help.
Oh I see! I think the operating system and the browser have a huge impact on this. I use iOS and Chrome as browser, and I see the following:

In your screenshot I noticed the message “Windows has limited flag emoji support” so you might need a different source of emojis that has a better set of flags on Windows.
However, it’s very good for us to be aware of different OS and browsers and ensure a similar experience as much as possible.
You’re right! Thanks for pointing this out, and for your help :)
Curious, are you using flags to help users identify events by country or location?
Yes, @Scott Baldwin, definitely! The Events overview page needs a way to filter and group events in order to make it easier for users to find relevant events for them. The flag emojis could be a slight help for now. My solution for having emojis in titles can be used on any content type to make more visual, so definitely both ideas make a lot of sense.
Yes, that makes sense! Filters on the events page could be really useful.
