I’m admittedly out of my depth here and not quite sure how much Insided’s white labeling of Algolia can be tinkered with. But I also believe it was confirmed for me that Insided search prioritizes some types of content (articles) over questions and conversations, so maybe that means there are settings than can be done…
IF Insided can prioritize some types of content in the search, I’d like to see a toggle on topic moderation that allows Community Managers to weight a topic with more significant importance and higher priority for searches matching Public Tags or keywords.
Use cases:
- Prioritizing FAQs
- Deflecting unnecessary duplicate questions
My use case / inspiration: We see a lot of questions answered with references to previous questions. From user interviews, I think many people are using the recommended topics, but a lot are still sneaking through.
While I can/will put those together into an FAQ article or resource, it’d be great if I could also bump them up the priority list in search to make it more likely to be seen in the recommended topics and/or search.
