Is there anyway possible to expose which users have access to what dashboards?  It would be nice to be able to build a quick report to show the user and what dashboards they currently have access too.
This would be a helpful tool or at least knowing how to get to this data through a report.
Hi Chris! This feature would be awesome!  There are more than several posts scattered around the Community that touch on this.  Manual audit of Dashboard Permissions is NOT fun - Copy and Paste can only do so much.  Haha  But yes, +1 to this request!

[i]Right now it's copy and pasting the the name of the reports and then clicking on each one and copying over the user list.  Then cleaning that up.  It did make it easier when User Groups came out though - so we don't have to grant access individually to our users.  But still a time consuming none the less.

Hi All,

This is a good idea, but I see there are lot of technical challenges involved, redirecting to product team.

Thanks for bringing this up!
Agree that this would be extremely helpful - we have over 200 dashboards and it's difficult to manage which dashboards each user has access to. It's also difficult to permission out dashboards to a user as you need to click to each dashboard to provide access.

@sai_ram @minh_phan can this get looked at more seriously?  when you have multiple dashboards and multiple users mapped to them, the only way to tell who has what is to manually search through them.

I had a situation today where several users that we had mapped previously were missing from the permissions - and there are only a couple of us with access to make any changes.  I checked with them and no one changed them.   Suspicious.

If I were able to run a report on permissions, I could capture a snapshot today so that if this happens again I have demonstrable proof that something is amiss.  As it stands today, I can only capture a screen recording and manually scroll through the permissions assignments for each dashboard to serve as a point in time capture.
