As a GS customer, I want the emails that are sent with an alias to customers using our customer marketing software (Iterable, Mailchimp, etc.) to log correctly to timeline so that I can keep visibility of marketing emails within timeline for my CSMs.

Context

  • The emails that we send using our marketing software tie the names of our CSMs to an alias email (example: success@mail.gainsight.com). We need to access this information on a regular basis.
  • Right now, we can access the bcc email addresses, but have to generate the API key each time to see this info.
  • Allow the inbound emails checkbox to automatically check off for new users so that we do not have to manually check this box every time we add a new user.
