Segments > Add Visibility on where they are being used

Based on the feedback from GS PX Support, there is currently no way to see where Segments are being used.

Having visibility on this would help, among others, to:

  • Clean up data
  • Revise current Engagements
  • Take an informed decision on whether to remove/update a segment

As a reference, you can see what is happening with GS NXT and the Templates. I can see in how many Programs they are being used:

 

And also the details of the Programs, when I select the number:

    To elaborate a little further:

    During a recent clean-up we realized that - when attempting to delete a Segment that is currently being used in an Engagement - a pop up will be shown:

    • Warning that the Segment cannot be deleted
    • Giving name and link of the Engagement/s where the Segment is being used

    However, this only happens during deletion - and cannot therefore be used for QCing, reporting, or clean-ups that do not/should not require the deletion of a Segment.
