Send Inbox Notifications for Announcements

I’d like the ability to send a direct message to all community members at the same time, in the form of an announcement.

Basically, we occasionally publish something that everyone needs to read (an announcement) and I’d like them notified. I can put it on the homepage or create an article and feature that - but they don’t get any sort of notification of new content.

Please let me know if there’s a hack that could make this happen!

Thanks for sharing this idea @Kgastaldo - not sure if we have a hack available for you unfortunately - but maybe another user can think of something I haven’t :).

Indeed there’s some overlap with the idea shared by @dandre - I guess in this case rather than segmenting by role, you simply want to message the entire community about the announcement?
