Sent vs received PM

Hi @A11ey, thanks for your feedback! Unfortunately, this currently doesn’t match the direction we want to take private messages in, which is to make it more conversational instead of a list of sent vs received messages (which is more like email). I’ll park the idea in case we reconsider further down the line.

Thanks @Sebastian , this makes sense to have PMs more like Messenger, is there an open idea for this, or some way to provide input?   For example:

• When the system sends a badge notification from me, it should not show as unread in my list, since technically I sent it. 
• Make unread messages easier to visually identify, and sort by last received. This may be working like this now, but all the badge notifications make actual messages sent to me harder to identify.  
• Ability to send group messages, to either a group of people I select, with the option to name that group i.e. SuperUsers, or to an actual Group.  Also an option to leave the group.
• Improved editing tools, like creating a post, ability to format, add images, etc.
