Some search bars on the community search only that category, others search globally across the community and federated search. 

However, the phrase for the placeholder text is the same in all search bars (live.search.placeholder).

It would be good to use separate phrases for the placeholder text for these two different experiences. This would allow community managers to customize the placeholder text, manage expectations, and point users to the right place. 

For example: 

• On global search bars: “Search across community”
• On category-limited search bars: “Search this category (see search in navigation for global search)”
