What:

I wish we could have several or independent Ideation modules.

How:

For example, we could establish Ideation modules based on products:

  • Product A have “Product A Ideation” module in Product A category
  • Product B have “Product B Ideation” module in Product B category
  • And so on

In “Product A Ideation” module there can be seen only Product A related ideas, in “Product B Ideation” module can be seen only Product B ideas, and so on.

I can grant access to the “Product A Ideation” for certain users, and access to the “Product B Ideation” to other users. And so on.

Note: As a admin I can choose to use just one Ideation module (for everything) or several modules.

Why:

There are use cases where you want to build just one product at the time.

Or, there are use cases where you want to define user groups who can share ideas and from which product. You dont want to display Product A Ideation” module for Product B users. And vice versa.

At the moment everyone can see the Ideation module where are all the ideas in one place.

Or, you can use Ideation module to build just one product but what happens when you want to start build second product as well?

Hi @revote ! Thanks for sharing this great idea - we are currently working on multi product features, meaning that we will soon introduce categories for ideation modules, which will allow you to categorise your module by Product if you want to have a category dedicated per product for instance. And will also have the permissions necessary to control visibility for certain user. Later we might want to look into different module, but not in the near future. I hope our multi product features will already solve your use cases!
