And when clicked, it opens the regular “start a new topic form,” defaulted to question.
I’d like this instead to default to an idea, and the product area prepopulated by where you are (in this example, Customerville:

I had a quick look on your community and I noticed that the “create an idea” button has not been added to the Ideas overview page. This can be done via the Customisation mode and the widget is called “Create idea” button. I wanted to mention just in case you were not aware of this button being available in the widget library. However, your idea remains valid.
