Group members need to be able to subscribe to receive email notifications of activity in the Group, or perhaps a digest of activity.

@JKelley when you join a group you automatically get updates via email when new activity is posted in the group. Per inSided’s documentation:

New topic posted in group: We sent an email notification to all group members when there is a new topic posted in a group he subscribed to. Subscribing to a group happens automatically when a user joins a group. This email notification is the same as the notification for new topics in categories and is customizable in the Control Environment.

Hello @JKelley and thank you @Scott Baldwin for replying.

Indeed by default when a user join a group, they are by default subscribed to the notifications, so they will receive an emai for every new topic posted in the group.

End user also have the choice to opt out of those notifications while still being a member

If everything is clear to you, I will close this idea.

Thanks @Marion Frecaut and @Scott Baldwin - very helpful to know that and be able to advise our members that this is automatic and they can adjust.  By all means feel free to close out the idea!
