One thing our CSMs struggle with in adoption success plans is the value beyond using it as a tracking tool.  One thing that’s constantly brought up is the ability to see outcomes related to the work we’re capturing in our success plans.   Because we have so many objectives related to making metrics in our score card go green it would be create to have the ability to set up a goal when an objective is built.

 

For example:  I could create a new objective that is focused on getting adoption of product X Green.

Then, on a goals tab, I could have an area where i can link this objective to the plan.  So in this scenario I would say - Link to Score metric Product X adoption = Green, by Y Date.  

With the goal set, the CSM could naturally work the objective, and once the metric goes green they could either set the objective to close out automatically and set a closed status based on the criteria (on time, metric green = closed success).


We could potentially get some really good reporting use out of this too.  Number of objectives that a CSM has worked, closed out successfully.  The ability to report on these goals, how many metrics have gone green, etc.  It would allow the CSM to tell their own story, and I think that’s immensely powerful. 

Love this idea!  We also struggle with how to record/report on customer metrics, so this would be a big help!
