Hi is there a way to track engagement (posts, replies, likes) amongst externals only? It's the engagement growth amongst our customers and partners we're the most interested in tracking, not amongst internal employees:)

Hey @Anitahg → with the beta version of the engagement dashboard, it’s possible to see on a company level the number of posts/replies/likes per company. Or are you looking for bigger picture numbers (total posts/likes?)

Other workarounds I can think of:

  • In addition, you can filter the other dashboards by custom user role (it’s only possible to ‘include’ certain user roles at the moment, so you need to have a role like ‘customer’ that’s applied to any customer user).
  • You could also report on this via our Salesforce export integration (if you have the resources to create reports in Salesforce).

Hi @daniel.boon yes we’re looking for the bigger picture (total # of questions, conversations and replies) made by our customers and partners. We sat up a report for this in Salesforce.

Hopefully it will be by role, it would be a shame to limit this feature!

Hi @SmartlyGreg by role is useful too, but we’re also looking to measure registrations and engagement all up amongst our customers and partners, therefore we’d like to have the possibility to filter our employees out of this statistics - as what we’re really interested in measuring is the development amongst our customers and partners (and not employees).

@Anitahg thanks for explaining. I think I’m coming at this from different perspective because we use InSided internally as well and hence we’d love to be able to look at our employees as well! But TBH you might also want to look at sub-roles, for instance distinguish partners from customers.
