Users think in different ways and we would like to have different options for progressing through the slider engagement. For example, some users prefer to use their keyboard rather than a mouse. It would be good to allow them to use the arrows on their keyboard to move to the next slide.

The dots at the bottom look clickable, but they just show your progress and do nothing with navigation. It would be good to be able to click on them to go to other slides.

Some people cannot use a mouse, so keyboard alternatives are good

@teresabever @mmarques users can navigate using the tab key which brings the arrow key on the edges in focus. Does that not help to help navigate across in a Slider?

@aharkut Thanks for that info. I wasn’t aware that they could use the tab key.

I do like that functionality now that I know it is there, but that wasn’t obvious to me. We might add something to our guides to let users know they can use the tab and enter to progress through the slides.

I do think that the arrow keys would be more intuitive so it would be great if that could still be improved.
