Hey folks, I guess I’ll kick it off. 😁
It's nice to have a place in the Gainsight Community. I’ve been a Gainsight Customer Education/Skilljar user and have managed the FME Academy for about two years. We deliver on-demand and live online training and a product certification program.
I look forward to using the Gainsight Community to share ideas for improving the Customer Education platform. I am happy to connect with anyone looking to learn more about managing an academy.
I’m also seeking reviews of AI tools for creating and updating written Customer Education content; if you’ve had any good experiences there, please let me know. So far, our experiments with ChatGPT (including Custom GPTs) have resulted in subpar quality, except for using it for quiz question generation.
Hi there! My name is Amy and I’m a Customer Education Specialist here at Handshake. I own all content and strategy for our Handshake Employer Academy (one of our two academies we host on Skilljar). We are also Gainsight customers and I used the tool extensively when I was in a CSM role.
Looking forward to connecting with folks!
Amy
@sam.walker Thank you for being the first brave soul to post, and welcome! As far as tools for creating and updating Customer Education content, these are the ones we hear most about from our customers: Parta.io and LearnExperts (course authoring), Clueso.io and Videate (product videos), Synthesia (avatars), Napkin (customizable infographics). Hope that gets you started!
@ahendrickson welcome! We love a double Gainsight customer!

Hi! I am a content creator and use Skilljar primarily as a course admin to load assets and set up courses we create for the companies we work with. I am curious if anyone in the community has a Skilljar design expert that they have worked with to customize their site (talking about global header/code snippets/branding and that type of design work.) Any insight as to how folks arrived at their finished site product would be useful. Realizing coding seems to be the only route to many customization preferences. Thanks in advance!
