Action Required: Update Your Gainsight CS UI Managed Package by Feb 27
To ensure your team maintains uninterrupted access to Gainsight within Salesforce, we have an important update regarding our integration package.
What’s Changing?
Salesforce has updated its security standards, which requires a transition to a new Gainsight package. To keep your widgets loading seamlessly and ensure your team can continue logging into Gainsight through Salesforce, a quick migration is required.
Migration Checklist
Please coordinate with your Salesforce Admin to complete the following four steps by February 27, 2026 to avoid any service interruptions:
- Install the New Package: Download and install the "Gainsight Customer Success" package. You can find a more detailed Installation guide here.
Note: The user installing the package must have the Gainsight CS permission set to correctly configure the Gateway URL for your data center.
- Assign Licenses & Permissions: Provision licenses and assign the necessary permission sets within the new namespace. Additional information including detailed instructions on assigning licensing and permissions here.
- Adjust Layouts: Insert new widgets and adjust Salesforce Page Layouts as needed.
- Update Feature Toggle: After successfully installing the new Gainsight Customer Success package, raise a support ticket and work with the Gainsight Support team to enable the GAINSIGHT variant of the SFDC_PACKAGE_NAMESPACE feature toggle for your tenant.
Note: This configuration is required only for customers migrating from the old package to the new package.
Already finished? If you’ve installed the new package, double-check that the old "JBara CXM" managed package has been uninstalled to fully complete the transition.
