How to convert bulk conversations in a category to Product Ideas

Hello, I have nearly 400 posts in a category that I want to convert all of them to the Product Ideation module. 

I was told that I can do this via API, can someone show me step by step on how to do this?

Otherwise, I’d have to manually do this one by one

  1. ​​​​ Put your data in a google sheet (you can probably do this with Excel 365 too)
    1. It needs to have the topic Id
  2. Build a Zapier automation (that you’ll run just 1 time and then can shut off) 
    1. Trigger: New or updated spreadsheet row (Google sheets)
    2. Action: API request (beta) (Gainsight CC)
      1. This pre-built action already authenticates via your Gainsight CC-Zapier connection 
      2. You have it run this POST operation for convert conversation to Idea
        1. Id data from the trigger
        2. ModeratorId is your Id as an admin
  3. Publish the Zap, turn it on
  4. Use the Transfer existing data option in Zapier to make the Zap run the for each row in your spreadsheet
    1. It will use 400 zap runs/actions to process the 400 rows in your spreadsheet
    2. It will take a few minutes
  5. Turn it off when your done so that it doesn’t accidentally run when you make edits to the sheet
    1. Or you could leave it on and you have a prebuilt automation for any time you need to convert them, but you can also more easily do one-off conversations in Control

I do have a Zapier account, I don’t have experience with API
