Log email to timeline of multiple accounts

We have emails which we would like to log to two different companies, the European company, and the Far East company.

Is there a way we can do this?

Hi @jjarvis

We can accomplish this using associated records within the timeline. Please follow the steps outlined below.

  • Log the email to a single company (either a European company or a Far East company).
  • Navigate to the timeline of that specific company.
  • Edit the email entry within the company's timeline.
  • Access the "associated records" field.
  • Select the company you wish to link with this email.

#Note: A maximum of 10 companies can be associated within a single timeline entry.

Sorry I miscliked - meant to just like the comment, and not mark as best answer. Although this appears solved :).

We have this same need, to log emails to multiple customer record timelines. However this workflow is not ideal, especially if you’re using GS Assist from your email account. Is there a way to just associate to multiple company records from within the GS Assist add-in?

Hi @ajprince

It is not possible to log a single email to multiple accounts directly via GS Assist. You can only log one email to a single company at a time. However, you can use the "Associated Records" option to log that email to additional accounts as needed.
