@Sebastian Along the lines of @amy.evers’s comment, I’ve noticed that if I draft my email outside of the platform, then copy/paste, everything in the body is then italicized. I’m not able to highlight all and deselect italics at all. Previously, I could still right-click and paste & match style, I lose all the formatting done in my draft (bold, etc.) which was annoying too but could this be a browser thing also? I am using Chrome, no updates waiting.

Which roles (admin, community manager, moderator) have permissions to send email campaigns? I would like our moderators to be able to send email campaigns for their communities.

On User roles - overview of permissions and what they do, I did find the Emails section: “Having this custom user role gives a user permission to access Phrase management (adding, changing, removing text strings on the community and email notifications).” I think this means it’s not possible to give someone the email campaigns permission via a custom role, but please let me know.

Thank you!

Hi @hilaryschuldt

I just double checked this on our end and community manager and admin role will have permissions to send email campaigns for the communities. Moderators currently don’t get the access.

I’ll get back to you soon on the custom role part as well.

Hi @hilaryschuldt

I typed something and then realized it was not adding up to my testing. So you might not be able to find my previous reply. Sorry about that!

I did test it and looks like the custom role can’t have access to emails. Although you can set access while setting up custom role, it looks like unless they get a primary role, custom role doesn’t give access to emails.
