There’s so much room on the Rule Chain page, why can’t you show the full name of rules? We tag our rules with a version number, and not being able to see the version number in the list of the rule chain at-a-glance is really silly, especially when there’s the entire half of the page that’s not being used. These rule names are truncated unnecessarily.

+6Totally agree! I’ve been working a lot more with rule chains recently and have also noticed the amount of white space. What an improvement it would be to see the full rule name instead of hovering over it to see the full name!

It’s always been truncated, but now that all my Rules have converted to Horizon it’s WORSE because the Horizon Rules tag takes up MORE of the rule name space.
Now that Anirban is gone, anyone know who can we tag here to get this looked at?
This may seem like a small thing, but it’s another example of changes that making the admin experience worse, not better.
Seems like this could very easily and quickly be fixed.

I hate to think the amount of time we waste hovering over things just to see the full name of something. Literally, the space used is just ¼ of the screen.

Then I searched and found this post, which I have already upvoted, with basically the exact same screenshot. Great minds and all that.
Anyway, can we get a pulse on this? It feels like a pretty low hanging fruit and it really would be a much nicer experience. As you can see in my very original screenshot below…

I don’t know if there is an Idea around this same thing but for template selection in Advanced JO but it seems even easier. Whenever you select a long name it already starts showing the full length, so it is actually possible to set it like that from the get go
This is just awful. I could say the same. Our rule names are often lengthly so we can reference a ticket number or something, then add some standardization stuff...we are likely near the limit on a number of them. I don’t know why we are in 2025 and stuck with a width column when there is literally nothing else on the page, or anything that could ever go anywhere else on that page.
