Alphabetical order does not make sense for our Product Areas. We want to be able to order the Product Areas in a custom order.

We are planning to categorize by plan type rather than granular product areas, so in our case we’d only have a few. Drag and drop would work perfectly.

Hi there! I wonder if there’s been any movement on this front? In our community, we would also prefer a custom order of the product areas in both: Ideas & Product Updates.
+2I’m currently setting up Ideation for our Community and the same question popped up. We want to arrange the areas by likelihood (have the most used ones on top). Similar configuration as for the Ideation statuses would be convenient.

We will be releasing this functionality when we work on adding hierarchy to Product Areas, as well as the ability to subscribe to Product Areas.
