Aloha folks.

I'd like to have a freeform notes section for individual users, only available to moderators/staff, so we can track any changes to/info about that user. For instance (but not limited to) warnings, username changes, or any other useful information. :)

(This is similar to Keith's idea about moderator notes on topics: https://community.insided.com/ideas/355 )

@Tanja @Julian I just stumbled onto this thread because I was looking for information on how to add “Team Notes” or moderator notes for a specific users. I’m keen to utilize the workaround of creating a user field for our admins and moderators to use but I want to ensure I do this correctly so it is never visible to the end-user. Could one of you please advise on how you did this?

This would be hugely valuable! Particularly for warnings (especially informal “warnings” or community guidelines reminders), it would really improve things if we could know at a glance whether that user has been previously warned without needing to track it externally or check DMs.

Our team also does a lot of 1:1 chats with community members to discuss feedback, their needs, their goals, etc., and it would be great if we could keep notes in their user accounts for the rest of the team to see.

A notes section for user profiles would be great! We work with a lot of moderators, and it would come in handy if we can see in one overview if there's anything about the user we need to know.

Bumping up! Having a dedicated notes section similar to what’s already in a topic moderation page would be great; having a running log of a user’s notable actions or feedback is extremely helpful and also a feature seen on competitor platforms.
