Hi Team,While copying the data from Slack into Timeline, the images are not copied.https://share.getcloudapp.com/eDuRd7gXThis has been confirmed as the expected behavior. Can we add this to roadmap for copying slack images as well? Also, the copied text needs to be scrolled up/down or sideways for complete display. Can we have the text copied as normal note and we do not have to scroll for viewing the details?https://share.getcloudapp.com/d5uRK7X7
Right now we are in the process of reviewing data permissions in our organization. It’s simple enough to set data permissions (record visibility) for key parent-level objects (Company and Relationship for example. But now we are addressing other related objects, such as Timeline, Call-to-Action, Success Plans, etc. It would be amazing if I could set the visibility of these objects based on the visibility of the parent record it belongs to. For example, if the user is not able to see the Relationship record, they should also not be able to see the Activities that roll up to it.Alternatively, it would be great if I could set the permissions for an object based on a lookup field. For example, I have a controlling field that exists on the Relationship object. If I could set permissions for the CTA object based on that field, by virtue of the lookup to the Relationship object, this would also address my concerns.
I have a KPI reports to show customers and one for ARR. Those are filtered to exclude test accounts and Inactive accounts. Those are also OOB Attributes for the Gainsight Home Summary Ribbon.Unlike my KPI reports though, the attributes are completely unfiltered and show test accounts and inactive customers. This means that to use attributes you must pass them through Global filters that you may not otherwise need, because the other reports you’ve added to Home already have those filters baked in.The current solution is just to use KPI widgets in the summary, but as mentioned here That’s a bit of a non-starter anyways, meaning the actual solution is just to not use the Summary Ribbon at all.
ScenarioIn Salesforce, the parent for Account (for Relationship X) is changed from A to B. This happens daily in our environment. The Scorecard Fact (including Unified Fact) now has 2 Active rows for every scorecard measure, 1 for Company A and Relationship X and another for Company B and Relationship X. Requested change to fix this known issueAt minimum, the rows for Company A and Relationship X should be marked as Active False. Ideally, the original row would just update from Company A to Company B like the rest of Gainsight.Existing work-aroundsUpdate Parent Company: This is very hard to maintain manually. No one is notifying the admin team when a company-relationship is modified. I cannot see any other reason to use this feature, as the Relationship object and r360s all update automatically for the current Company-Relationship combination. In all reporting / analysis add a filter for Company ID = Company ID to only display the current combination. Need to remember to do this for all reports and sometimes requires transformation on data causing a delay. Also does not work with scorecard widgets. Ref. Ticket: 338952
We’d love the ability to report on the current bounce list status of our users. The Email log V2 provides a good idea of the bounce list as it relates to those emails, but that doesn’t update when we’ve removed someone or changed anyone’s bounce status.
When using a numeric scorecard schema, the score for a measure group involving two measures with 50% weighting each, is calculated as the average of the scores for each measure. E.g…Scorecard colour schema: Measure Group 1:Measure 1 -Weighing: 50% Score: 99.5 Contribution To Measure Group: 49.75Measure 2 -Weighing: 50% Score: 62.5 Contribution To Measure Group: 31.25 Sum of (49.57 + 31.25) = 81 As 81 is between colour scheme values 75 and 99 , the average 87 is displayed in UI for the measure group. This is also the value reported in the score column of the Unified Scorecard Fact object. However, the final value used to calculate the heath score for the relationship is not the average. Instead, 81 is taken, which leads to user confusion on how the scores are calculated. A second example:Measure Group 2:Measure 1 -Weighing: 20% Score: 62.5 Contribution To Measure Group: 12.5Measure 2 -Weighing: 20% Score: 12.5 Contribution To Measure Group: 2.5Measure 3 -Weighing: 60% Score: 99.5 Contribution To Measure Group: 59.7Sum of (12.5 + 2.5 + 59.7) = 74.7 As 74.7 is between colour scheme values 50 and 75 , the average 62.5 is displayed in UI and reported in the score column of the Unified Scorecard Fact object. However, the 74.7 value is taken for calculating the overall module score, despite there being no way to display or report on the value of 74.7 from the measure group.
I'm working in the dashboard builder and have to have two browser tabs open to build a report, and then load it into the dashboard builder for what I need. Wouldn’t it be great if I can see my reports, or create a new one in a popup in the dashboard builder? This would save me so much time building dashboards.
It would be great if fields could be added to the preference pages to gather information that could be used in variant filters. Currently, categories are set at the email template level. I'd like to be able to gather key information such as language or for contacts to update their roles (which indicate certain email delivery types), that can't adequately be captured as categories. Being able to capture language preference is our largest use-case currently.
Hi Team, We recently discovered that Success Plan Links that were shared after late 2023 have a default expiry date of 1 year. This presents some problems, not least of all visibility into when a Customer will no longer be able to see a plan shared with them. We would like to see visibility into link expiries and also be able to automate reminders off the back of them to whomever is the CSM on the account or Success Plan Owner. See below for potential User Stories related to this issue. User Stories: AS A Gainsight Administrator I WANT to be able to query when Shared Success Plan Links Expire SO THAT I can automate reminders ahead of the expiry dates for link renewal. AS A CSM I WANT to be able to see when my Shared Success Plan Links are expiring SO THAT I can proactively re-share success plan links with my Customers. AS A Customer I WANT to be notified that the link shared with me is expired SO THAT I have clear next steps as to how to ask for help getting the link fixed.
We do not limit the number of admins an account on our platform can have, and some have several admins. We would love to be able to CC people on JO emails dynamically in order to add all of the plan admins to the email as tokenized contacts, rather than having to send separate comms to each admin. We want to avoid having mutliple threads if multiple admins respond.
Hi team,In Feature Performance widgets on dashboards, the chart portion currently occupies only 1/3 of the available space, regardless of the layout option selected. Even when switching between different layout options, the chart remains confined to 1/3 of the available space, while the legend occupies the remaining 2/3.When there are only one or limited legends, this layout results in a large amount of unused space dedicated to the legend area, leaving the chart portion smaller than it could be.It would be beneficial if the widget layout could adapt based on the number of legends. For instance, when there are fewer legends, the chart area could expand to fill more of the available space, enhancing data visibility and making better use of the widget’s layout.Allowing the chart area to dynamically expand based on the legend count would maximize the visibility and usability of Feature Performance widgets, providing users with a clearer view of the data without unnecessary empty space.Thank you.
There can be multiple means of filtering data through Gainsight Data Designer. This means, when trouble shooting, we have to click on each component to review the related filters.Ideally, it would be great to have a “Filter Summary” tab or even a “Data Summary” tab to have a list view of the components/elements included in Data Designer and view the filters contained within each through a drop-down view.
As a survey/NPS program administrator using Gainsight, I would like to see the response to an inline survey question be captured, regardless of whether the respondent proceeds with the ‘online’ portion of the survey. Current functionality (using NPS as an example) is such that when a respondent selects a rating (e.g. 7), that the survey launches with the ‘7’ pre-populated in the survey. Great in theory - however that response is not recorded in the Gainsight database until further action is taken. This further action can either be in the form of a ‘partial-response’ where the respondent answers an additional question but doesn’t actually submit the survey, or a completion via submission. To me - current functionality partially negates the purpose of an inline question and as such, I am not inclined to actively use them as it introduces confusion and uncertainty into the UX and data cleanliness. There are several related posts in the community - but none that I found which hit the nail on the head in terms of this functionality.
Can we require 1st name, last name for public profiles? We have lots of members and @tagging/finding someone who has a common name eg. Jim, can be challenging
When sharing a Success Snapshot from the C360, the Success Plan selector includes old/closed SPs. There should be an admin option to restrict the export to only active/open SPs.
It would be great if we could see who / what last updated the Cheat Sheet. Right now I can see when it was last updated, but I cannot tell if it was via the auto-refresh process or by an individual. This will be important when troubleshooting issues with the auto-refresh function.
Now that the C360 supports a company logo it would be a huge time saver if the company logo could be automatically added from the company domain. There are a few CRMs that do this probably using an API like this https://clearbit.com/logo
Currently in CTA Type layouts, an admin can configure Search fields for Lookup fields/attributes to custom objects which allows users to search for records by the values/characters within that object’s Searchable fields. I would like to be able to see this same capability extended to Inline Report Editing so that users can search for a lookup field custom object record to which they can associate the Report object’s record. This type of parity across features is crucial in making this platform fluid and intuitive.
The UX/UI on C360 Report pages ends up creating a lot of whitespace with overly large KPI widgets or other reports that get added. This request is to add the same Canvas / Widget approach that is used on the C360 summary and bring that to the C360 Report pages to allow admins more flexibility in how they design the data/reports and provide a greatly improved experience to end users.
