Customize the drop-downs in the Mega Menu

I really like this idea. Indeed a concern for us is that this dropdown will continue to grow to an unmanageable length as we continue to add categories. It’d be great to see an option to control with categories display in this dropdown, or even to give the option to collapse/expand parent categories within the menu.

Another way this could potentially be addressed would be to have the dropdown default to only showing a few categories and present the user a “Show More” option that allows them to expand to show more options

We would love this feature as well. We’re using the community for a public customer-facing forum, a private employee-partner forum, private beta testing for the next release, and drafts for KBAs - meaning if you have all those permissions you see an INSANE menu. I’d love just parent categories - or the option to choose/see more. 

Supporting this idea myself as it’s a feedback I have gotten from superusers saying the menu is way too long and should only display the main categories first.

We would need to be able to add sub-pages to the Ideation drop-down menu, to enable embedding several ProductBoard portals in the sub-sections.
