Current use case for us is that we currently track engagements through an SFDC form and would like to have the ability for our CSM/CSA's to tell Sally what it is they are doing for the customer. Once the information is received by Sally the information would be updated to the timeline.

Hi Amanda,
Thanks for the post. Sally currently supports 'Post to Timeline' feature using which the CSMs can post activities to Timeline from Slack. Have you tried using this feature?
Thanks,
Rajesh

Yes, we are using this, but would like to see the ability for Sally to post to time line based on an SFDC form. We currently track our customer success engagements through an sfdc form and then that feeds into Gainsight, but it would be nice if our Customer Solutions Architects while at a customers sight could tell Sally what fields to update in the engagement form and then update that into the timeline.
Hi Amanda,
Is the goal to update data in SFDC events & tasks along with Timeline? You can log the information in Gainsight Timeline by creating an activity type with the fields in your SFDC form. Later this information can be synced to Salesforce Tasks or Events from Timeline.
Please let me know if this helps!
Thanks,
Rajesh

Hi Amanda, does the above answer help or do you still see a need for Sally to be able to use the SFDC form? Can you list what fields are tracked as part of the SFDC Form today?
Thanks
