Ability to link a case/project/opp to a task of a CTA

We can currently link a case/project/opp to the CTA but it would be nice to have the ability to link to the task as well. We currently use smartsheet to for update meetings with the customer regarding cases and opps and projects. It would be great to create a success plan and then add an objective "case review" and then under that objective have tasks for each case we are reviewing that are linked to that case. Then create another for projects and opps, etc.

      Hi Andrew,

      Thanks a lot for sharing this. Let me know if I understand it correctly, you have an objective CTA in a success plan for reviewing cases...and each case you review is a task. So for every task you want to associate the case (sfdc) to that task? Is that right? Do you make edits to the case/opp/project from within the CTA or are they more for a reference ?

        That is correct. Objective > CTA > Task. The task has the ability to link SFDC records just like a CTA is able to today. No need to edit from the Task just for reference (clickable) to navigate to easily and also create reports.
