Currently with email to timeline we do not support support aliases. This is an important feature that needs to be possible as if a name or email address changes, you leave the user unable to use this feature with the new email.
Ability to support email address changes BCC to timeline
Thanks for posting about this, Chris! Our users who have changed email addresses/aliases (name change, etc.) are not able to use BCC to timeline - this is a major inconvenience for activity tracking!
