The ability to add custom fields to the Email Logs report in analytics is very helpful. I also need similar manipulation with the Email Raw Events. Are there any plans to add the ability to edit there? I've tried adding this as a data space, but the Email Raw Events table doesn't seem to be visible.

Hi Elizabeth. Currently Email Raw Events are considered as system objects so can't join with other information. There aren't concrete plans to change that, and our expectation was information on the aggregated email logs is more relevant. What use case are you looking to solve ? Thanks.
Hi Guarav - We have several emails that contain multiple links and it's important to see what the users are clicking on. The Email Logs report only shows the last URL clicked, but it doesn't give any insight whether multiple links were clicked. When reporting on this, I need to be able to analyze the data using fields from SFDC which tell me the role, the segment, the location, etc.

This is really a critical need for me and I am currently doing a lot of VLookups but as our use of CoPIlot expands, this is going to be time prohibitive.

Does that help give you some insight?

Thanks Elizabeth. Very much so. Let me investigate if we could make this system object, more of a standard object that can be 'manipulated'. In the mean time, would you be willing to copy data from this object to a custom object in MDA via the rules engine?
Yes  - if that's the way we need to accomplish this. I was really trying to avoid duplicating the data, if possible. Is this something that could be done using the new Data Spaces? Thanks!

Today Dataspaces is only for SFDC object and this is in MDA. We do have plans to add MDA over the next couple of quarters. However I need to check if that will include system objects, which I doubt. Really what we need to do is first convert from system to standard object. Let me follow up on that.

In the mean time you should be able to write a rule to duplicate the data instead of doing vlookups manually in excel.
