Aggregation options should be expanded to Non-Numerical fields for Calculated Fields

Currently it is only possible to use forms of aggregation with numerical fields when building calculated fields. There should be an option to use the types of aggregation COUNT and COUNT_DISTINCT for non-numerical fields, just as they can be used within the Show Me section of the Rules Engine and the Report Builder. This would expand the usefulness of Calculated Fields.

      This is important in order to add consistency in the product. Also, it might not be difficult to implement - don't filter the list of fields to limit only numeric fields in Add Calculated Field dialog and display errors / prevent selections if someone tries to do something odd like AVG on a text field.

      COUNT and COUNT_DISTINCT make sense for all types of fields as their result is an integer that would feed into Calculate field settings nicely.

        Any update on this? looking to use the rules engine to set scorecard measures based on a % change in the number of support cases created over a certain time. I want to use Count Distinct of Case Number to get a numerical value, but it's not possible.
