Sometimes we don't want to 'bump' a topic (this frustrates our superusers), but we do want to send a reminder e-mail to a user that a personally addressed reply is waiting for them. I've tested and an edit with an @mention doesn't seem to work.
Could this functionality be added?
Allow @mentions in (late) edits
