We commonly use variants for a template for translated versions of the correspondence.
It would be great if we could be able to have an association to a field automatically happen across variants when we make a first association with a customized display field. For instance, if we go through the trouble of changing the name to First Name across all variants, we would like all of them to be associated to the field called First Name when we build one association. That would save a lot of time! To ensure it is intentional, this would only happen when we personalize the display name.
