Have a situation where I have two fields on SF object that are named the same thing - one is a formula, one is a picklist.  



Ultimately I agree that there shouldn't be two fields named the same, but as I was going to try and choose one in a report, I noticed they are both listed as a Text field.  







Thought it would be helpful to add a picklist icon to fields that are of type picklist.
@ Jeff, This is a valid ask.



Technically not possible I hope, because Salesforce display the same.

Will discuss the same with the Product team and get back to you about the possibilities  
Somehow the system knows the difference, because if I add them both to a data space, then I can tell which is which:
