Character length for Questions and Answers in Survey

Currently, in survey questions and answers (ex. multiple choice, matrix) we support 2000 & 160 characters respectively. 
Would it possible to increase the character count of both or at least answers?

      Can you give an example for this which you have heard from customers? It will help us in planning for the same.
