It would be nice if there was a way to Search for a field (Object.Field) and see the reports that field is used in.  On top of that it would be great if you could switch that field out (remove) and add another field to all of the reports that previously had the field you searched for.
Hi Jeff, this information can be pulled via the dependencies area under Data Management. See below.

Editing any reports that use that field would have to be done individually as there might be filters or other conditions on that field, so a global "search and replace" is not really optimal.
This only works for MDA fields, however, not SFDC fields.

Also it is object level dependencies and you have to comb through and look for your field in each dependancy, rather than having a field dependancy check.
Hi Dan,

Thanks for the reply! I should have been more detailed in the post, I was looking for SFDC fields that exist on reports.  Understand the complexity of search and replace, so if that can't be done getting the list of reports where the field is used would be helpful.

If you could do a search and replace additional logic would have to be added to give the user the option to replace at the show me level, by level, drill down level or filter level or all levels.
We would LOVE to have this enhancement. Our Salesforce team has a large initiative to clean up unused or underused fields in 2019 and we will need to validate if/where these fields are used in Gainsight so that things do not break. This would be a huge time saver.
