I did a test survey in 2.0 and I cannot delete it. There should be an option to delete surveys, this can get messy.

A survey that is published or closed cannot be deleted.
You need to raise a support ticket for the same.

+2Also, Maybe the 'Delete' option should be grayed out if it is not available as an option instead of clicking it and then getting an error msg.
