I have a customer (and Gainsight sales team) that would like to create LRM transactions from MDA data, not using SFDC objects.
Has this been considered as product enhancement?
Any thoughts, timeline projections, etc. much appreciated!
Thanks,

"Create LRM transactions from MDA data" ? means they want to have LRMHEader and LRMLines objects in MDA instead of SFDC ?
Use Case:
-Customer uses SAP or some financial system not integrated with SFDC
-They feed these SAP transactions into MDA through S3 or API.
-They then want to use Gainsights LRM to see this data
Azhar confirmed...this is not possible today without first moving the data into a Force.com table.
Azhar: There is no way as of now to have LRM related data outside Salesforce. Booking Types, Revenue Types and the Rules to load Transactions from all operate on SFDC objects.

Loading transactions data from MDA seems like a valid & useful use case as it offers flexibility to the customers. Although, this item is on our LRM roadmap but it may not be taken up in spring release.
At the same time, the longer term solution would be to build & expose LRM API to fetch data from any external system.

Hi Rajesh have we made any traction on this request? I have another customer looking to do the same.
