Filter Timeline Activity Date by Fiscal Quarter

Fiscal period filter options are not present on MDA objects today in report builder. Gainsight does not know the fiscal period definitions which are typically defined in Salesforce. We show fiscal period options for reports on Salesforce objects because Salesforce itself groups the data by those periods and returns us the data.

We have enhanced this in NXT for simple custom fiscal years which can be defined in Gainsight. Do you use simple custom fiscal years or complex custom fiscal years?

What makes fiscal years simple or complex? Our fiscal year is Feb - Jan.

So, the fiscal year is from Feb 1 to Jan 31 with 12 periods and 4 qtrs following normal calendar? (Thats simple fiscal)

Correct, Feb 1 - Jan 31. The quarters would be:

Q1: Feb 1 - April 30

Q2: May 1 - July 31

Q3: Aug 1 - Oct 31

Q4: Nov 1 - Jan 31
