We’d like the ‘Go live’ button in the Control environment to take us directly to the first new reply.



Use case: We often like to use the ‘Go live’ button to see the topic at the front end, because opening a topic in control changes its status to ‘Viewed by moderator’ (which influences our workflow). However, whereas there’s a nice direct link to the new reply in Control in the ‘Replies’ column, there isn’t such a link to ‘Go live’ to the first new reply.



It’s one of those shortcomings which is fine the first time, OK the 100th time and it gets really annoying after you’ve been clicking and scrolling for a 1000 times to get to the new posts at the front-end.



A not so great workaround is to sort the topic by 'newest first'. It would be be somewhat viable if you could 'pin' your sorting preference (probably my next idea in ideation).
