Lack of ability to edit Email Template title area

I haven't seen this posted anywhere and frankly I'm a little surprised. There is a complete lack of ability to edit the title area of email templates and I think this needs to be corrected.

For instance; when posting the title of my company in the email title, I would like to format it so the ® symbol is correctly formatted (like it does automatically here) in superscript, but there is a complete lack of ability to do this.
