Overall Timeline

Perhaps once we can report on Activities you can create reports to add to a dashboard?  Would that address this need?  I think that would work for us, rather than having engineering spend time creating a separate view.

Thanks for sharing, Heather and Jeff. We are definitely exploring both options right now. A couple of follow-up questions:

• What level of interactivity is desired in such a view -- mainly consumption or add/edit, too?
• If we think of this combined feed as one component of the portfolio view, what else would make sense to add alongside the Timeline?

I don't think a separate overall view would be needed simply for consumption purposes (that could be added via dashboards and/or a section to Cockpit/Reports) but I suppose coupling an overall timeline with the general Cockpit might not be a bad idea in the sense of giving the CSMs one place from which they can add/edit multiple activities across multiple accounts, i.e.

My original note about whether or not the former could be accomplished via reports/dashboard was primarily meant to say if engineering is going to spend their time on something, is this more valuable/higher priority than other items such as integrating with Google Calendar/Mail, etc. or enhancements to CS360 functions such as evolving Success Snapshots?  Don't know how your engineering teams are split up, just thinking overall timeline may not be quite as rewarding as adding other features that would be higher ROI for CSMs.

Agree with Jeff. There are definitely items that would be higher on my wishlist. 🙂 My initial idea was the same as Jeff's to make put it in the Cockpit area as another view. Thanks, Manu!!
