I understand that a user type field cannot be configured as a picklist. I would think that would be a valuable enhancement and would like to suggest that as an idea.

Apologies for the delayed response. I'm not quite sure I understand the use case here. Could you elaborate or give an example of what you're trying to achieve?

When we were going through a configuration, our Solution Architect suggested that we submit an idea for the user field to be available via a picklist. Evidently, User Fields are not allowed as a picklist and yet the overall user experience - particularly in dashboards, etc - would be improved without typing in the name of CSMs and other users.
