As it is possible with most social media tools and content webpages, I would like to see the possibility to prepare topics in advance. By that I mean writing a topic in advance and it automatically being placed on a time and date chosen by me or one of my colleagues. This can be helpfull and relevant because of the following reasons:

  • It will be possible for you to post topics outside opening hours

  • It will give you more control over your planning

  • We use our community a lot for content placement, which is based primarily on current affairs. I can imagine planning in advance would be usefull for other communities as well. For example: provider communities with an Iphone release coming up. Especially with special news and campaigns we work together with our webmasters and social media team to ensure that the information is live as early as possible. Our content can be seen regularly on the news, and of course you want to have your topic live for the morning news. When planning your topics in advance is possible, you wouldn't have to get up in 6 in the morning. 😉

  • We regularly refer to community topics on our other content pages. At the moment we can not share URLs in advance, while content pages are being put in staging in advance, and the same goes for our social media posts. This means everything is being planned, and ready to be put live, except for our community topics. So a refering to our community cannot be made in advance, simply because you don't have a link. The only workaround to get a URL for your topic in advance is to open a topic in advance, trash it, and restore it later when you need it.
