We have weird behavior of heroimages on the mobile devices. The platform does not scale them. It just shows the left part of the image.
Actually I never saw such behavior, so we are not prepared to this. We made heroimages for a desktop layout considering all will be resized on the mobile.
I see two options to improve:
- Scale heroimage anyway, no matter the ratio is - it is really better than show just 100px of 1920px.
- Add an ability to upload the specific picture for mobile heroimage.
Myself, I prefer the first one because it is regular behavior for the vast majority of websites I have ever seen. Especially if the whole rest of the website is resized successfully, like yours.
