survey character limitation - unable to use (!?%). Only able to use (& , .) in comment box

I received a response from a customer that they were unable to use the characters they needed in a survey response. 

After testing, I also received an error message that prevented the survey from being submitted with the characters. 
The error message: "Please enter only alphabet. Supported special characters (&,.)"

Can this limitation be removed, as customers may need to use other special characters?

      Hi,

      I agree this limitation is there with text type of question but there is a way to accept special characters in response .You can change the type of your short text question from "text" to "AlphaNumeric" which will allow both special character and number in responses . Below is the edit view of short text  question.



      This can be done in ongoing survey and change will be reflected to the customer .
