Timeline Filters: Show Number of Activities

Running into a scenario today where I'm counting the number of certain types of activities, and it would be helpful if that displayed for me.  So, what I'm thinking is maybe just a little line at the bottom of the page that says Displaying Total Number, and then, when you filter, changing to show Displaying X Number out of Total Number.  (Kind of like how that works in Excel)

I can run a report since I'm the Admin, but our CSMs don't have the reporting option, so would be great to have that display.
