Currently when you have a token formatted as text and that token is a number the following happens:

What you get when you send yourself a preview, notice text format looks okay.

What the email looks at when sending live, notice text format has 5 decimal points.

Granted, formatting the token as a number will resolve this, I do not believe there should be a discrepancy between the test send and the live run. Some people may incorrectly choose text but see no issue in the preview and not notice it.

I suggest we add the decimals in the test preview.
I think the preview should definitely match the live send as closely as possible. We've also seen instances where a test email I send to myself looks fine, but we've had client comment on the unnecessary decimal digits or we notice it when someone replies. I hadn't noticed this since the August release, though. Thought it was fixed?
This happened to us recently! The preview environment is definitely misleading in this regard. It would be great if the preview actually shows the decimals so the admin is alerted to modify the format.
