Hi Team,

I am currently,  creating a few invoice usage reports, for our Client Success team. The source for this is the MDA object in Gainsight. However, when using the MDA, I am unable to segment the reports on the Fiscal Year/Quarter. It defaults to the Calendar Year/Quarter. I read a few articles, mentioning this is a limitation of using MDA. However, the CS team depends heavily on Fiscal year results and hence, need the reports to be based off of FY. 

Would you be able to assist on the issue? Appreciate your advise on this.

 @vinitha.subramanya, Currently, the source of information for Fiscal date periods is in SFDC. We do not have the definition in MDA to honor nor can we dynamically fetch and apply SFDC’s fiscal period definition for MDA reports. 

 

Fiscal Periods can be divided into Standard and Custom. Standard follow the regular calendar (Start of a month) and Custom fiscal years can be set as per your need. More details can be found here. Can you confirm what fiscal period definition you use in SFDC - Standard or Custom?

@rakesh Is there a workaround in place for creating FY reports, apart from using SFDC objects as the source data?
