Skilljar March 2026

This month we're back with AI enhancements to some of your favorite Release Week features, a new way to keep bot signups out of your domain, and events and community highlights worth checking out. Here's what's landed in March, lucky you.
Let’s dive in!😀

AI Enhancements Now Live & AI Tutor Now in Beta

We've added AI-powered features to Course Ratings and the Dashboard Homepage, giving admins instant summaries of learner feedback themes and real-time insights into engagement trends and learning paths. Additionally, AI Tutor beta has been extended to all customers, featuring improved content guardrails. Note: AI Tutor requires enablement in your dashboard settings before it's visible to learners.

Strengthen Signup Security with Learner Email Verification

Enable an organization-level email verification setting that requires new learners signing up with email/password to confirm their email via a secure link before accessing training, helping reduce spam, strengthen security, and support compliance standards like EU Double Opt-In. The feature uses Skilljar's existing invite workflow and applies only to new self-signups.

Salesforce Managed Package & Data Connector Updates

We've released an updated Salesforce managed package to align with Salesforce's transition to External Client Apps, ensuring continued compatibility and ongoing supportability. We always recommend to upgrade to the latest version of our package via the AppExchange and follow the re-authentication steps. Additionally, Skilljar's Data Connector has been expanded with new tables and fields primarily related to License Packages, along with improvements to catalog-to-path-to-course relationships. Both updates are backward compatible and should not disrupt existing integrations.

Managing SCORM Updates Without Losing Learner Progress
Denise Johnson raised a question about managing SCORM content created in Articulate Rise—specifically how to handle updates without resetting learner progress. As content evolves, what’s the best way to structure courses? Should large SCORM packages be split into smaller modules to preserve progress?
If you’ve worked with SCORM-based courses, this is a great discussion to explore best practices and approaches.
