How do I upload a PDF file so that a person can read it from an Insided page?

Hey @Wilder-Clari, that’s not possible unfortunately, the PDF has to be attached in the post. If you’re looking to “protect” your PDF so users can’t download/share, I can share with you two ideas:

  1. Converting the PDF file to an image format (such as JPEG or PNG) using a tool like ImageMagick or Ghostscript, and displaying the images in a topic. This way, the user will not be able to download the original PDF file directly, but they can still download the images.

  2. Check CloudPDF, a cloud-based service designed specifically to protect PDF files from unauthorised downloads. Their platform allow viewing PDF files within the browser, but sets itself apart by disabling the download functionality for viewers. CloudPDF is a paid service but I think they have a free version, if not, you can find others websites/platforms that do the same thing.

Hi @Wilder-Clari

do you mean embedded PDF that can be read ‘interactively’??

or simply as an attachment?
