We recently rolled out an external dashboard for use for broader members of our organization that don’t have Gainsight licenses. The direct link/URL works just fine, but once the link is clicked on and the dashboard loads, the URL updates and that new link is not shareable across team members. Is there a reason why the original URL does not remain constant or that the updated link is not shareable? We have a high volume of people reaching out with claims that they do not have access to the dashboard when in fact they are just using the updated URL.  This seems related to this post. 

Currently there is no way to know if a specific topic is closed unless you open it. When there is a long list of topics, it is very useful to close topics when the issue discussed is solved or not applicable any more. Adding a visual icon to the closed topics will help to skip these topics improving user experience for moderators, community managers and users. Regards, Guadalupe

I should preface this Idea by noting that I've changed the Forum -> Subscribe phrase in our community to "Follow," and the Forum -> header.profile.dropdown.subscriptions phrase to "Followed topics." The improvement I'd like to see here is an option for changing the text of an already subscribed topic. Right now, all that happens is the star icon is filled in. The intent is to also provide a text-based indication of subscription status in addition to the graphical indicator. With this change, an already subscribed topic could then display "unsubscribe" or "unfollow." I suppose it could also say "subscribed" or "followed." ¯_(ツ)_/¯ I tried using the plural portion of the phrase, but that didn't work. Maybe that would be an easy way to implement this function using existing code since I couldn't find an actual plurality for the Subscribe phase. Thanks! -Drew

Pretty much every time I go to use the 🔗 link button, I squash my link text when I paste the URL. When you select text and click the link button, the cursor focus stays in the text box and doesn't move to the URL field. This happens in the control and front-end environments. Surely I'm not alone here... It seems to work "properly" if you click the link button first, where it also prompts for the link text to be entered. Hopefully this is an easy fix!

I have a feedback of our moderator which I agree: If a thread is moved from one forum to another, e.g. from English to German, it will be difficult for the author to find his topic again. The original forum should contain a message that the topic has been moved to forum xxx. From my side: I agree with him. It is really the case. Our old forum had that option. So if a moderator moved a topic to another category, the link to that new location was left in the initial category. It was for a topicstarter to find his topic after moving. Such links were automatically deleted in 30 days, so the forum did not keeps them forever.

Hi all, Please, add a possibility to view in moderation panel who liked the post/subject. In moderation panel we see only the quantity. It is important to see the people because we need to understand whether customers or moderators like the post. Thank you.

Hi all, I think that it would be very convenient if there will a possibility to view content (preview) of the topic when moving mouse over the subject of the topic in moderation panel. Now moderators spent time on opening topic in a new window in order to have a look on it. Also, it is convenient because we can have a quick look on content and decide whether topic should be moved to another category or not. Thank you.

Some meetings in the Gong integration are getting missed, or failed, and we want a way for a CSM to be able to flag from Gong that the meeting should be added to timeline in addition to the automation

Currently, the times that display in the product mapper (and probably elsewhere in PX?) are all GMT. It would be more user friendly if these are displayed in the users local time.

An experimental idea that @timcavey is trying out with some trusted members and super users, involves having other employees getting involved in a few private areas to dig even deeper with feedback and discussions than what we’d normally have on the public forum. However, not all employees would want to be revealing themselves “publicly”, or run the risk of being discovered by users. While a shared login can be used to create a sort of “shadow user” that represents several others, it’s not ideal for security or auditing purposes.One pretty neat trick that I’ve seen on a few systems, is the ability to allow trusted members (usually employees) to post things as a Shadow User, where the user profile that’s displayed publicly is replaced with something else. For example, instead of the author showing up as Blastoise186 and my usual avatar, I could post as a Shadow User called “Sunlight”, have the avatar show up as a picture of a sun instead and have the Custom Role/Title show up as Magicia

With all the text messages that we get for appointments and account updates, I am curious about the interest level and use cases for adding SMS/texts into Gainsight Outreaches or even a new "Text Assist" CTA task option?  These options/features do not exist and they are not part of the active Product Roadmap, so your feedback and upvotes will help us to gauge interest and learn more.  Thank you! 

Add Last run datetime field in the list view of data designer with a hyperlink to view the execution history.Right now unless I click into each one and see the execution history I do not know when the design last ran. When I am looking a long list and trying to correlate between the run times of different DD objects - I am lost after 2 or 3 down the list.

Would love to have a Preview option for CTAs to be able to see exactly how it would appear to the end user.  This is would especially helpful for JO Programs using a CTA step where you are mapping tokens, etc, and would like to see how they appear, but I can also see it being helpful in the Rules Engine.  I’m thinking just a simple Preview button that you could click, and it would display the details you configured inside the actual CTA framework.

Hi, as we have an automatic logout because of our SSO, our users are logged out when they are inactive for more than 30 minutes. Unfortunately typing is no activity which is registered by the system which means that often users are logged off while they're writing on a longer post. It would be great to save the text in the local storage (also when for example the internet connection is down) so that the users can get back to this state and don't loose everything they've typed. It would be very helpful to remove outliers from the dashboards, as they can skew the metrics. As I report to management I like to provide the best and accurate information as possible without also adding cavets. This will also help us get a better understanding on well we are doing. For example the Avg. response time (hours) metric for last month May 2019 include outliers and does not represent how well my team is truly doing. Hi all, I've got a question about the email notifications triggered by 'Best Answer' being marked on a post. If I mark my own comment as the Best Answer, I get a notification saying this has happened. I'm a moderator, but other forum users would also be able to do this on their comment if they think they've given the right information. Example below: I appreciate these email templates are customisable, however is there a way of excluding the individual concerned from this notification if we can recognise that the person who marked it as best answer is subscribed to the thread and would get this email? Basically I want to avoid getting an email about something I've done!

In the Control Panel we can go to "Customization" -> "Side Widgets" to add widgets to the sidebar. It is possible to add several HTML blocks per sidebar. After setting up the blocks and minimizing them in order to keep it manageable, the view looks like this: We need to expand the HTML blocks in order to find out which one it is. That's why we're proposing to add an individual, internal title to the header of the block. It could look like this:

One of our super-users asked if it would be possible to have a feature on the platform that either would update new comments to the thread thats already open, or at least notify you about new comments on thread when submitting a comment that would allow you to check the comment(s) before publishing your reply. I would like this feature personally too, as it would lessen the amount of same info on the platform (e.g. someone posts a question and gets two or more comments with the same link and solution)

When using desktop version of the platform, if you zoom too much or have too small resolution on your screen, formatting helps including emojis start to drop off of the comment fields formatting helps under the field. This causes problem when one of our superusers uses bigger font due to aging. Could these be included in the formatting menu behind three dots when such happens? :) 

Maybe this one is controversial, but this metric makes me crazy. If you have a couple topics that slide past and never get a response, then they ruin this metric. I’d really like to know, of the questions that get a reply, how quickly are they replied to? It’d be nice to have the average response time filter out topics with no reply. 

Hello all, We have been diving a bit into the next steps of getting our community content better displayed (and found) in Google. I would like to post two of these subjects here for everyone to take some potshots at it. One, the meta description. This one is explained here, but when talking about topics we do not have an influence on this unless you rewrite the topic in itself. We think it might be beneficial to decouple/create a separate meta description from the topic itself. But only on the back end. So that means you would get a meta description field above the topic on the backend that would automatically fill with the standard lines from the topic that Google would see as the meta tag. But then you would be able to change the Meta tag there without changing the topic itself and so create a far better overview that gets into Google's results. The export feature is very useful for us. We would like to have an option added to be able to export ‘per user role’. Currently there is an option to export per ‘user’ but then all users from all different roles are exported. We very often send mass emails (another missing feature) to specific user roles and every time we need to do this, we have to first download the whole group of users, split the role column into different columns and then filter the specific role we are looking for. Too many steps! I would like to be able to export a list of users per role and get their details straight away. Do you also miss this feature?

Hello all, I would like to know if there is currently a method or if this is in the works to be able to mark multiple answers to a question?  Example: OP asks a question and another user answers it. OP replies saying that the answer worked but turned out it only solved part of the issue. User adds another answer to make it a more ‘complete solution’. OP says the two answers combined helps them with their issue. I would like to be able to sort of “append” an answer to another answer.

Pretty much what it says on the tin. Our Deezer communities have a playful tone at times and emojis are part of it. Some of these are at the bottom of the emojis list, making it less convenient to use them that often. A recently-used display could be ideal and make the editor more intuitive  (right at the bottom) Let me know what you think!  (right at the bottom)
